Diving
The La Manga coastline has a rich and unique blend of atlantic and mediterranean sea life where you can find moray eels, groupers, barracuda, rays, octopus, turtles and sunfish, along with countless types of colourful smaller fish. There are many amazing rock formations as well as wrecks, corals and reefs.
Beginners can take half day or longer courses either to experience diving for the first time or as part of a course to become PADI certified. Experienced divers can do deep water dives and explore many sunken vessels and shipwrecks in the area. Night dives can be arranged. The waters near Cabo de Palos have been defined as the most attractive in the Mediterranean by the "The Cousteau Foundation".
