Information about the lighthouse in Cabo de Palos
This week we took a visit to one of the most recognised buildings in the area, the lighthouse (El Faro) at Cabo de Palos. The lighthouse is easy to find as it is located the furthest point east in Cabo de Palos, you will find a car park at the base of the lighthouse where you can park for free. The lighthouse grounds are not accessible with a car you will need to walk up via a slop or up the steps. The entrance to the grounds is just to the right of the main gates and is open all day.
To go inside the lighthouse you need to book in advance and the maximum at any one time is 8 people and you must be over 16 years old, the cost is around 6 Euros.
