Los Flamencos is a modern front-line beach resort located on the shores of the Mar Menor and has spectacular views over La Manga del Mar Menor. The complex has been built to a high standard and is ideal for a family holiday or a relaxing weekend away.
The complex is packed full of features that include, large pool area, chill-out zone, gymnasium, play area for children, Spa, sports area including volleyball and bowls, bird observation hide, games room and Mediterranean garden.
The apartment has 2 very spacious terraces, an open-plan living area with patio doors out onto the balcony where you can, eat out or relax and enjoy the fantastic views of the complex, sea and of Cabo de Palos Lighthouse. The other is a kitchen terrace that is south facing so catches the sun all year round where you can enjoy the views of Calblanque nature park to the south.
Inside the apartment you have a smart TV, free superfast internet and a washing machine. The apartment also has a separate fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a patio doors out onto the south facing balcony. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite from main bedroom).
There is also a large underground parking area where you will have your own private parking space.

The apartments themselves were beautiful, immaculate, and the facilities excellent. We have stayed in many apartments in the La Manga area over the past 10 years, and these are by far the best.

Our experience was unfortunately overshadowed for 4 of our 7 days by the behaviour of one of the pool security guards, Ana. While we fully appreciate the need for security to prevent non-residents from using the pool and facilities, and absolutely agree this is necessary, her approach was unnecessarily severe and made our time at the pool very unpleasant.
On the days when the male security guard was on duty, he carried out his responsibilities with professionalism and a smile, ensuring only residents used the facilities. In contrast, Ana repeatedly reprimanded guests for minor or even unfounded reasons. Children were told they could not play ball, jump in, or swim near the partition (even when no one was lane swimming). She even approached our children directly, making it clear she was carrying a baton and handcuffs – something extremely intimidating in a family pool setting. This is the only reason we have given 4* as opposed to 5. In terms of Resort Choice, their service has been 5* and I would absolutely book through them again. |
